#OWW Sat Sept 24 - TIME CHANGE TO 1PM - 3PM
As stated in the title, it seems a later time is better for others and since the coach is available at the time requested, this session has been moved to 1pm-3pm. Thanks Dawn!
Mock Meet Saturday
- Build to 60% in doubles of snatches (1 power + 1 full)
- Then do singles at 65%-70%-75%-80%-85%
- 90% is then your opener where everyone will stop and watch you lift as though it is a meet
- You will get feedback on why it would red or white lighted, and then take your next attempt
- If you miss an attempt, you must stay at the same weight
- Total of 3 attempts
Rest 15 minutes
- Build to 60% doing 1 power clean + 1 full clean + 2 jerks
- Then do 1 clean and 1 jerk at 65%-70%-75%-80%-85%
- 90% is then your opener where everyone will stop and watch you lift as though it is a meet
- You will get feedback on why it would red or white lighted, and then take your next attempt
- If you miss an attempt, you must stay at the same weight
- Total of 3 attempts
Make reasonable jumps in weight based on how it felt, not based on previous PRs. We will be doing this almost every Saturday going forward until mid-November, so you will have plenty of chances to attempt some new PRs.
This will be a relaxed "max" lifting session, feel free to bring coffee and snacks and enjoy heavy lifting with friends. You're also more likely to PR if you wear a singlet.
