Find a 1RM of the following movements in the listed order:
1) Back Squats
2) Strict Press
3) Deadlift
Warm up with 5-4-3-2-1-1-1… of each movement
Stimulus
The back squats will require the most warm-up (8-12 total sets), strict press in 6-8 sets, deadlifts in 8-10 sets. Do some extra mobility work (dynamic, don’t hold stretches) and take some pre-workout if you want to maximize your muscle power. Don’t get too hung up on hitting PRs today, just enjoy lifting “heavy” for the day and celebrate when you’re able to ring in the new year with stiffness and soreness rather than being in pain
