Virtual CrossFit

If getting to the gym isn't feasible for you, we have a solution that allows you to exercise from anywhere! Our virtual classes offer the benefits of accountability and a supportive community of like-minded individuals. Plus, you'll have a dedicated coach guiding you every step of the way, ensuring you maximize the effectiveness, safety and progress of your workouts.

How does a virtual class work?

Unlike a lot of other online fitness classes, we take a very interactive approach and actually coach you through the Workout of the Day (WOD).

  • We chat and get to know each other while waiting for everyone to join the live stream.

  • We review the workout and give individual adjustments for equipment availability/injury/level of fitness.

  • We take you through a dynamic warm-up, walk through the movements, and then we all start the workout.

  • Even though the coach might be moving with you, they will still give you feedback, corrections, and encouragement throughout.

  • At the end we take time to do some mobility/recovery, before we say goodbye.

What do the workouts look like?

Our virtual classes follow similar programing to our in-person group classes program. We adjust this based program to a shorter time (45mins) and to what our members have to work with at home. In general, each week we focus 2-3 days on strength work, then slot in shorter & longer metabolic conditioning and always end each day with some sort of mobility/recovery (we often us Mobility MVMNT as a guide for this).

We also have a Strength/Skills class, as an opportunity for those interested to build strength or work on skills. In this class, we do a EMOM (every minute on the minute) with three movements of your choosing. This usually follows a core, strength & skill pattern but is dependent on what you want to work on. Coach will help you figure out what movements would be suitable for you and how to progress over the weeks, based on your goals. Please note there might be weeks that class will be cancelled if Coach Val is traveling/out of town - so please make sure to check the schedule.

Our specific virtual programming is accessible via our private Virtual Community Facebook group (request access HERE). We post each days workout one day in adavance that explains a warm-up, the workout, and recovery. So even if you cant make the live class that day you still have some guidance to get the workout in when you have time.

Valarie Adamson

I started CrossFit in 2008 and was lucky enough to find a love for Olympic Weightlifting & Powerlifting as well (and compete at a national level in all three). Transitioning out of a competition mindset and into a fitness-for-life mindset was a process for me, and now I love helping others find their balance as well. My goal is to help people find the right fit for them, and get them building better long term habits for longevity.

Julie Baldock

I started CrossFit in 2012 and instantly fell in love with movement and how it can help heal the body. From there my passion in nutrition, Olympic weightlifting and most importantly, coaching others. There is nothing I love more than helping others build and celebrate a lifestyle that supports them best!
