CrossFit Open at CFCL

The CrossFit Open is coming to CFCL

The 2026 CrossFit Open runs Feb 26 – March 16, and it’s one of our favourite times of the year.

For three weeks, people all over the world complete the same workouts — but at CFCL it’s less about leaderboard scores and more about showing up, trying something new, and cheering each other on.

We’ll be running the Open workouts right in our Friday WODs, so you can take part just by coming to class. Want to redo a workout or submit an official score? You’ll have the option with your own judge. And after the final week, we’ll finish with a community wind-up to celebrate everyone who took on the challenge (and the people who supported them along the way).

Coach Tron is heading into his 16th Open, and whether it’s your first or your fifteenth — you belong in it.

306 W.C Sask Open

The 306 W.C Sask Open takes place Saturday, February 7 in Saskatoon, hosted by 306 Weightlifting Club. We’ll have CFCL athletes competing on the platform, and we’d love to see our community come out to support them. If you’re not lifting, it’s a great opportunity to cheer on fellow athletes, soak up the competition atmosphere, and lend a hand as a volunteer if you’re able—events like this truly run on community support.

Join us for a relaxed, come-and-go evening full of friendly competition and good company. We’ll have dart boards, a pickleball net set up, and a huge selection of board games—including Clue, Monopoly, Mahjong, Uno, Play Nine, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, and plenty more.
