Standards

Egg-and-Spoon Tire Obstacle Race: We are bringing in this classic to start off the RUNble, testing the ABCs of fitness - agility, balance and coordination. Each teammate will have to hold a egg in a spoon, and make their way (following each other) through a tire obstacle course. One foot must touch the centre of each tire and then run around the pylon and repeat this back to the starting line, while not dropping the egg. You can not touch the egg with any part of your body to help keep it in the spoon. If egg is dropped, pick it up and go back to where you dropped it (we will be using plastic eggs as to no waste real eggs).

Wall Scale & 10 D-Balls over Wall: One partner must get over the wall any way possible (can get assistance from the other partner but no other equipment will be available). Then partners must toss the D-Ball over the wall to each other, 10 total times. Ball must touch the ground before it can be tossed back over the wall. Once 10 are complete, the other partner needs to make their way over the wall.

Monkey Bars: Without feet touching the ground, each athlete must hang from the bars and make their way from one end of the 10ft rig to the other end. If an athlete drops off the bar at any point, they simply have to get back on the bar they dropped from and continue on (there will be boxes on sides to assist). If either partner is unable to complete the monkey bar section, they can do a 20 calorie row instead (will be just past the monkey bars, before tire flips).

Tire Flips: Teams must flip the 450# tractor tire 4 times total, 2 one way and 2 back. Athletes can work together however they want to complete these. Judges will be available to help spot/assist if necessary.
