Recreational Weightlifting Workshops

Over the next several weeks we will be offering workshops for the beginner and recreational weightlifters, those that have the desire to learn and improve on these lifts but have no plans in competing in the sport of weightlifting.

These workshops will be covering the basics for the snatch, clean, and jerk, with a theoretical component followed by a practical component for each movement. Total length of each workshop is 4.5 hours, offered on the following dates:

Saturday, April 27th from 11:30am - 4pm

Saturday, May 11th from 11:30am - 4pm

While not mandatory, these workshops will be helpful to those planning on attending our Beginner Weightlifting classes (details TBA).

Cost: $25 + GST for one or both! (Same material is covered in both workshops but perfect practice makes perfect!)
