Cast Iron Classic Recap

This past Saturday, StrongFit YXE had five representatives on three teams competing in the annual Cast Iron Classic. I've always had a great time competing alongside fitness junkies and this time was no different.

Jess Desrosiers (SFYXE) joined Melissa & Chris Pylypchuk (Synergy), and Melissa Janis (CrossFit 3126) as they took on the RX'd division first time. Tron joined Tarra Hall, Glendon Hall, and Viki Cirkvencic (Brio South) to take 3rd place overall. Abra Thompson, Steven Benoit, Chris Callahan (SFYXE) joined Ilona (Synergy) to take 2nd place overall! 

This is the type of community that I can proudly say many of us are working towards in Saskatoon, the type that can get together and have fun regardless of where they train or who their coach is. The future is bright in our fitness community and I am excited to be working alongside such great coaches and athletes.
