Youth & Junior Movement Camp July 8 - 11th
Are your kids looking for a break from sport? Sign them up with Coach Elektra for a movement camp aimed at developing their 6th sense! Her experience as an athlete and coach in competitive gymnastics will lead them through fundamental movement patterns to improve their awareness of how to move (kinesthetic sense), where their limbs are in relation to the rest of their body (proprioception), which can enhance their athletic performance and reduce risk of injury in competition or play!
The camp will be held from Monday, July 8th until Thursday, July 11th from 1pm until 4pm. No experience is necessary, must be a minimum of 8 years of age. Each registrant will have a performance report card to work through mastery of a skill set before moving on to the next set of skills. This camp is focusing on the first through four levels of movement competency with future camps for levels four through seven. See below for a description of movements covered in each level.
