Kim, initially hesitant post-pregnancy, took a year to be convinced. One class was all it took for her to fall in love with the CFCL community. Despite facing injuries unrelated to the gym, the couple found Jason's coaching style to be unparalleled. His emphasis on technical precision and safe, effective training made all the difference.

Beyond the barbells and sweat, CrossFit CL played a unique role in their lives. Jason's encouragement extended beyond the gym walls, fostering not only fitness but also a focus on the relationship between the couple. A family that navigated the whirlwind of raising two kids under two, they found solace in the community, where egos were checked at the door.

Kim, (also known as Big Deal), is an artist in every sense. Crafting and artistry flow through her veins. From painting and sculpting to woodworking and building, she channels her creativity into kids' costumes, crafts, and everything in between. A self-proclaimed glitter enthusiast, Kim explores the endless realms of crafting, perusing Pinterest for inspiration.
